Anyone here run their own IT services firm? I want to get into the business and got a couple of questions to ask. I have the skills, talent pool and knowledge but want to know to get get into to the game as far as govt, local, regional, state, private & public contract type of work. Holla back.

The first plan of action is to specialize in only brand names. IBM, Dell, HP, Cisco. Register with them as partner.

Also you can work as sub contractor with many of larger IT service companies in your area.
