I'm surprised y'all don't get it yet. The moment this place became a forced charity site, HNIC had to play by a different set of rules.
It's no coincidence the $10 is called a "donation" rather than "membership fee". A donation is a transfer of money for no consideration, whereas a fee is an arms length bargained for exchange. If you give a "donation" you don't expect anything back, whereas if you paid a membership fee you expect not only access to the site but a certain level of functionality..aka no database errors.
If its a membership fee and the site fails to provide what was bargained for, there may be a right for a refund. Donations? Sheeeittt that's a gift homie...But if you permaban a member, you better be ready to give that donation back lol
