Is this a good deal for a cheap work oriented laptop?

JUst loading up Virtual machines, and learning the in's- and outs of windows and so forth.
Teaching myself programming too. So it's gonna have mostly those type of programs on it.
I'm trying to save energy and not run the desktop so much.
No editing or stuff like that.
I just bought it anyway, hope it last a long time.
LOL@11in display. At 2GB RAM, your Windows 8 is gonna be SLOOOOOOOOOW. Any Windows apps you load on it will be using the swap file heavily, which will make them run SLOOOOOOW. You'll only be able to run 1 or 2 Linux vm's with the lil RAM left and they'll run SLOOOOOOOOOW.

Yeah I got some ram to throw in there it's just for basic use and I'm ditching windows 8 and loading windows 7 anyways. It's 200 bucks not 1000 or anything expensive. If it sucks ill just take it back.
