Ethiopians eat a raw meat dish Kitfo and the Japanese have Chicken sashimi.
I had an Ethiopian ex who made Kitfo for me.
I actually like carpaccio in the summer time and the occasional steak tartare.
You aren't going to get sick from any of that because it is not like Arbys or 5 Guys is selling it. They have a special section of the kitchen and control the prep areas, utensils etc. in addition to being particular about the meat itself. I like dry aged beef but I never waste my good shit on some of my uncles/aunts who won't eat a steak that isn't well done and topped with A1.
