I mean seriously..this is UNPRECEDENTED in the history of famous cheating men to have ALL these bitches suddenly come out and talk.

In the last few scandals you have NEVER seen chick after chick after chick so willing to talk to anyone with a mic and camera. Lets look back at the last few male celebs caught:

David Letterman...admitted he cheated on his wife with SEVERAL women who worked for him. The ONLY one to admit it was the one who tried to extort him..NONE of the other bitches talked.

Kobe Bryant: HAD to admit he cheated on his wife (or else let public opinion brand him a rapist) with a hotel clerk. Think that was the first time he ever did something like that?? NO other bitches can out and said they fucked Kobe too.

Elliot Spitzer: spent THOUSANDS on escorts yet only ONE escort has admitted to fucking him even tho the ring was busted up.

Michael Jordan: paid the highest divorce settlement EVER yet thruout the preceedings the media wasn't inundated with hoochie after hoochie claiming to have had an affair with MJ.

You can go on down the line and see the pattern. Yet with Tiger this is completely NOT whats happening. Now theres rumblings in the media of possible steriod use...

Now its no secret that Tiger is the biggest player in the PGA in 50 years..fuck Jack Nicklaus, fuck Arnold Palmer..Tiger is dominating the sport in a manner that NO ONE in this or last century as EVER dominated that sport. How great is Tiger Woods?

If he continues on the pace he's been on the last 10- years for another 10-15 years EVERY RECORD THERE IS IN THE PGA WILL BE SHATTERED. And he wouldn't even be 50 yet.

The ratings drop when ever he's not playing. The season he took off for the knee injury caused TV ratings to drop 50%.

The man has amassed 1 BILLION dollars in less than 15 years since turning pro in 96. In a sport that is NOT in the top three most popular sports to watch in the US.

All of these things are unprecedented in golf if not MOST sports.

All that means is that one man has sway over an entire sport and advertising industry. ONE MAN

MJ raised the popularity of the NBA, dominated the game and had a shit load of endorsements but hes not the ONLY popular player in it. And ratings certainly didn't drop significantly when he retired those first 2 times. Michael Jordan may have been the most popular player but he didn't have the most control or influence because TRUE control in the ability to contribute and TAKE AWAY from a thing. MJ added more ratings and visibility but his absence didn't take away anything. Also the NBA protected him.

Even when they KNEW he had a gambling problem and slept around (for someone with such a clean cut image) and how much of a black eye that could have (and should have) given him and the sport (see pete rose) The NBA downplayed it.

The sport USUALLY protects the most popular player it has. The PGA so far has not. And for the last 2-3 weeks EVERY media outlet has been droning on about how badly this WILL affect his endorsements. But initially it didn't..when it was just one chick. Nike, Accenture all the other companies were content to ride out the storm. That is until around chick number 7 was revealed. And ALL of his colleagues are talking shit about him. EVERY ONE of the people who ever shook his hand and smiled in his face is now dogging the hell out of him in the media. Did the PGA stop that shit?

Think the NBA or NFL or NHL or MLB would ever allow its lesser players to talk bad about the most popular athlete in their sport at the worst time in his life?

IMO because Tiger has such a control on the sport and the industries surrounding it the powers that be may have an interest in taking him down. No one man (especially if they aren't white) can have so much influence on an industry.

They still want him to win..just not as much so fast. He can still be popular just as long as he's not powerful.

Which brings us back to the HOES ON PARADE that were seeing how. How are ALL these bitches getting revealed? Cori Rist went on the TODAY SHOW and cried and said she was ashamed for fucking Tiger for 6 months 2 years ago...how'd her name come up in the first place? The porn bitch who fucked him at a bachelor party 5 years ago..hell they even showed the chick he dated in HIGHSCHOOL..what the fuck has SHE got to do with anything??

And now steroid rumors? And mind you the rumor doesn't have to be true...just out there. Public opinion will do the rest.

The thread title is a bit misleading...I didn't mean that the PGA is trying to get rid of Tiger...that they want to control him rather than his popularity and leverage being able to control them.

Up to now Tiger was PERFECT. Now he's still a great golfer..but now his image has taken a big hit and in that sense he's damaged goods. Which means hes no longer as influential as before. Which gives him less leverage when negotiating contracts.

There was little they could do about his ability to play the game,(especially since it brought the games popularity to an all time high and like GOW said they were banking off him too), there was nothing they could do about him getting Elin, but what they could effect is his dollars.

The fact that Tiger was just as wealthy if not more wealthy than the head of most of his corporate sponsors was a blow to their ego whether they choose to admit it or not. This feeding frenzy on Tiger is more about pure, base, jealousy than anything else.

The thread title is a bit misleading...I didn't mean that the PGA is trying to get rid of Tiger...that they want to control him rather than his popularity and leverage being able to control them.

Up to now Tiger was PERFECT. Now he's still a great golfer..but now his image has taken a big hit and in that sense he's damaged goods. Which means hes no longer as influential as before. Which gives him less leverage when negotiating contracts.
