Is Death Penalty OK in this Case?

Peace,

first off...i didn't read the word "convicted" ..anywhere...

i don't why society assumes ..the police ..ALWAYS arrests the right person.. and the DA ALWAYS prosecutes the right person... when that's been proven time and time again to be untrue ...

"arrested".."charged".."suspected of" ..."indicted" ...is NOT synonymous with "convicted" ....

secondly ... no ... i'm not for the death penalty ...especially not for teenagers ...whose brains are not even fully developed yet ...

Thanks for posting this. Cats are too quick to condemn people just because they got accused of a crime.

The more accurate translation is "thall shalt not murder".

It's still interesting how quickly this supposedly Christian nation gets all Jewish (Old Testament)when it comes to crime. Folks all of a sudden want to embrace a wrathful God. What happened to the forgiving God of the New Testament?

Yep, He's a forgiving God but you still have to obey the laws of the land and that's New Testament. Read Romans 13. The New Testament does not exempt one of personal responsibility instituted by Jewish laws or the Torah or however you want to word it. Wrong is wrong.

Dude criminal justice is not taught in middle school nor high school.

I have kids from 12- 30 and not one has had a criminal justice class.

In high school in the 80's, we had a Civics class, and there were a couple of chapters that covered crime and punishment and the justice system. In fact, it was in that class that I learned that it was illegal to booby trap your home in case it was burglarized.
