and not crypto currency.. if you tried to transfer bitcoin

or any other form of crypto currency to your bank account you may not see that transfer again...


from what I understand twitter is the best way to get in touch with them...

I sold bitcoin to USD, and then transferred the usd

I've had a coinbase account for nearly 2 years. It has worked so successfully that I now use it as my savings account.

Whenever I sell bitcoin, litecoin or etherium through them the USD usually arrives in my bank account within 2 business days. Buying it an take over a week to transfer. A good way around that is to process your paychecks through Bitwage. They will convert your bitcoin fairly cheap (About 2-4%) and have it in your coinbase account within 1 business day.

sorry to hear about this @ OP...only stories I've heard is they sometimes arbitrarily deny your withdrawal to your bank account...and yes they do take long as hell to get back to you

Coinbase has more complaints this year than ever before. Supposedly adding 40,000 users a day, but I've heard so many stories of folks having trouble getting money out. Best to diversify options of getting money out -- and putting it in.

I searched online for coinbase phone number, I clicked a fake webpage that looks like an official coin base website, and then called them. After explaining my problem , they gave me a website to go to, downloaded a exe file, while logged into coinbase these fake coin base rep hit purchase bit coin instantly for $500 using the computer screen support app, then he tried to quickly transfer the coin to an address, but I was paying attention to what he was doing, I hit cancel quick fast. This shit can happen to others, I'm here to spread word on what happened to me. It made question if coin base is even real. Thanks for all the positive responses from yall. Hopefully I can get my transfer into my bank safely

yea go blow em up on twitter, complain about how hard it is to get in touch with them and you really thought they were a reputable company, untill you realized how hard it was to get a response....

then ask if any else had this trouble...

if there is a transaction confirmation number, Id would still be calling the bank everyday to see if something came through...

At the time they were holding about 2 bitcoins worth of my money so I decided to contact my credit card company and dispute every charge made on my card from coinbase over the past six months... Well that got their attention, but I was finally able to get my money and say fuck coinbase
