about an hour ago i turned my browser on & 1. my screen was restored down (it's always restored to the fullest position), 2. ALL MY FAVORITES ARE DELETED, 3. the task bar under the url space is gone (it had stuff like yahoo, yahoo mail, etc.) & 4. i can't save any bookmarks anymore.
i'm not sure what else is fucked up but those are the things that i've noticed immediately. is anyone else's firefox acting up & if not, what can i do to get it back the way it was. & i've already done a system restore & still nothing.
also, my home page & my firefox extensions are fine so i'm really confused

I know that Yahoo's toolbar and Firefox don't mix very well.
I was using Google as my homepage, and everytime I log into Yahoo
it would slow Firefox down and cause scripts to stop loading

I uninstalled Yahoo's toolbar and alot of problems disappeared

Same thing happen to me while back. To get it back the way it was. I had to do a complete uninstall Firefox. Then I had to open up Windows Explorer. Then I had to go to the Tools area and click on Folder Options. Click on View Tab and then click on Show Hidden Files And Folders. Next go to Documents and Settings folder on the hard drive. Next find a folder called Application Data. Delete all folders named Mozilla. After that firefox should be uninstalled. After that download a new copy of firefox and install.

Luckily I always back up my bookmarks, because I heard of some other people having the same problem of firefox losing bookmarks. So I had a easy recovery. By the way before you delete the Mozilla folder in the Application Data folder. Look for folder named bookmarkbackups. If the folder has files in there those are your bookmarks. Move those to your my documents folder. If the folder is empty that means your bookmarks are gone:-(
