Iron Man's been around for 40+ years... Show me somethin new. I'll wait for the DVD.
Iron Man is the best Marvel live action film to date!!!!
quite a statement, i havent seen it but imma say T2 is mos def better, and the best COMIC movie is batman begins
T2? As in Terminator 2? What's that got to do with Marvel?I'll see it in about 2 months. I live across the street from the dollar show. I just saw Jumper, Untracable & Vantage Point yesterday. All pretty good movies...all about 2 months old, all for $1.50.
You can't beat that.

I thought Batman: The Dark Knight trailer was gonna show with Iron Man??

The one thing everybody over looked in this thread was the acting. The director made sure there was some seriously good acting in it.
Downey Jr., Patlro, Howard and Bridges were truly amazing. They really cast this film very well.
even the way they hint things were don't subtlety but perfect timing on it. For example: the glare Rhodes, gives the prototype suit and says "Next time Baby!" Yo the whole theater went fuckin' crazy !!!
Exactly, Robert Downey, Jr's acting (mainly the comedy and the pimpishness) made this movie into what could be a classic. He absolutely murdered this part! Went to a bar after seeing it last night and all folks were talking about was Robert Downey, Jr. And John Favreau did his thang with the direction, too.
Transformers isn't really part of the regular Marvel Universe
and why isn't it?
Its actually owned by Hasbro. Thats why. Marvel licensed it.

cheap ass ninjaokay. point taken. but whatever. transformers been in marvel comics since the mid-eighties, might i add with pretty good story arcs.

Ain't gonna happen, but a neat idea.

as far as i am concerned iron man was one of the more mature comic adaptations.

LOL
CHEAPASSNESS..
just fuckin wit u....thats a good deal, but Iron Man was the shit in stadium seating. Most of those dollar shows are rinky dink
LOL. I am guilty of cheapassness when it comes to movies. Fuck that, I am waiting for the DVD rip or screener. If I enjoy it, then I will buy the used DVD when it comes out.
