Iran's not going to back down

I wish the media would stop with the "fearmongering".

Iran has the right to defend itself just like anyone else who may have experienced confrontation.

I agree.

I think they will back down to some degree, just like they did with the Strait of Hormuz situation but I don't think it's really a big deal if they have nuclear weapons. Israel has them so what are they scared of?
 
As far as the West is concerned they can lay down or stay down. Hopefully the world will stop the U.S. and Israel from annihilating the Middle East and Islam.

No one is after Islam.

It would probably help the Iranian case if their President wasn't so flippantly reckless with his public statements.

What constitutes flippantly and define reckless. In the end when it's all said and done if a Christian nation said and did the same things we wouldn't be talking war.

Holocaust denying and threatening a neighboring nation knowing full well the last thing you want is a full scale shooting war.
If any nation, particularly one with Iran's aggressive behavior of late, had such an arrogant, reckless head of state, they would be in the same position.
We aren't talking war anyway, so what are you talking about?

I know it's fun for some to reflexively side with whoever is jousting with the US and/or Israel but you invalidate your argument by pretending that Iran is just sitting back not instigating at all.

American media are reporting that Leon Panetta is concerned about the increased likelihood of Israel launching at attack over the next few months.

CNN confirmed reports first published in the Washington Post, citing a senior Obama administration official as its source. Mr Panetta and the Pentagon have declined to comment on the Washington Post report.

Bush II said Iraq was instigating and so did his father when he invaded each time it was proven they lied so the U.S could attack a Islamic country. These claims against Iran are like Deja Vu all over again.
