iPhone X face id easily fooled !!!! Damn.

Touch ID on a pixel is easier than face unlock. It's done in the same motion add just grabbing your phone. No pressing. Not to mention, if you slide your finger down, you can see your notifications.

And you don't have to unlock your phone to use Android pay. With the screen off, just put it next to the terminal.

Says you have to "double tap" the side button and then it will recognize your face for Apple Pay and purchases from the app store

No..lol

The camera seems to scan the face and authenticate faster than TouchID.

People will be double tapping to get the camera to activate in performing certain functions.

TouchID doesn't work well with wet fingers.

The camera seems to scan the face and authenticate faster than TouchID. - FaceID seems to authenticate the user faster. Not opening up the device, just authenticating.

Only person to test it so far seems to say TouchID is faster.

Come on man you're reaching, "authenticating" really? Touch ID is always going to be faster because as soon as you grab your phone you can put your finger right on the fingerprint scanner and it's opened before you even raise it up and i'll ask you the same question I asked the other guy, are you going to use your phone with wet fingers?

Ok.

Happens very often in the gym, especially if I have on my hand wraps.

For the record I wouldn't be using FaceID.

Clearly they aren't confident in this new iphone X, unsure how people would receive the whole face ID approach without a home button.

So the iphone 8 is for those who aren't ready for such an immediate change in phone function.

I'll probably upgrade to the 8 plus that's cool for me.
