Bumping for the upgrade to 6.11 that the patch works on. Just run the patch after updating and of course make sure the program is not running when you apply the patch.

I just did another update. Ran the patch again and the program is still running sweet.

I got a pop up to upgrade and accepted it. At that point you will like I did get a message that you are using a fugazy serial. Afterwards I closed the program and ran the patch again. If you don't already have it installed you can go to their site and get the program or click here. After you install the trial close the program and run the patch.

This my be a foolish question :confused: but when I downloaded IDM and with the patch it showed up on AVG as having a virus with the patch...A Trojan. What is going on? Please give me the 411.

False positive from the patcher. Nothing to worry about.

You just run the patcher again in the folder. I just leave a copy in the folder and every time my IDM updates I run the patch again.

I tried this and it told me that they could not find the file. I have no idea what that means.

I'm running 6.12 and the patch is still working. I just have to re-patch after every update. Thanks again :)

Damn... couldn't get it to work! After I dropped the patch in the IDM folder, all I got was this...

Shit... I was thinking of shelling out the $25 for the full program anyway... now I guess I got no choice! :smh::smh::smh:

Before I do though, let me ask...

Is there any program out there that's better at downloading videos from hard to get websites than IDM? If so, let a brother know.

downloading a simple file on some of these file sharing site are like pulling teeth!! :(

i'm trying to dl the patch from billionuploads and i can't figure it out.

is these a secret to it, or maybe another link? :confused:

Click Download/Watch then Click Download. Make sure you uncheck the option to use their downloader.

when i go to download, lets say, a rar file from rapidgator or similar hosts, the IDM will take over and most of the time won't let me download the file.

it'll say it won't allow download the same file twice or something like that.

is anyone else getting this and how do you remedy it? :confused:

There are some file host sites such as Rapidgator that does not support/allow download managers without being a premium member. You need to hold down the Alt key before hitting the download button on sites like these in order to just use your browser to download the file.

i have the program on my pc already. pop up messages asking me to update everyday. should i just update and apply the patch that you gave. or do i have to uninstall and start over?

After you update, just treat it like a fresh install. Make sure all instances of IDM are closed, run the patch.
