you want to talk de facto ban? then let's talk dennis rodman.
.
I was always surprised that Rodman didn't get a few more years out of his career. Dude was still in excellent shape and could defend and grab rebounds like he was possessed...and his "disruptive" nature was overstated towards the end of his career..
i disagree with dennis rodman on a great many things, so i can't pretend to be his friend, but we've had several opportunities to discuss basketball (and life afterwards) on flights to las vegas (we use the same airport), and the man knows his game.
^^^He probably had to grovel to come back. Prove that his spirit was properly broken or something
And he should've known Johnny Cochran would not help him for free. Just read Jim Brown's book if you want to know what was the real deal with that "brotha"
Also, do not look for help from so-called activists if you are not part of their circle. Unless you're a frat brotha or some shit, they won't do jack for you. Otherwise, it's you scratch my back if you want me to scratch yours
I'm from Detroit...so you know I've got mad love for Rodman.. No one can say Rodman never gave 100 percent when he was on the floor
LOL...now now man, lets be real. i've seen Rodman walk...AND I MEAN WALK down the court on a fast break and lazily take his position while the rest of the team had to move the ball with only 4 men in place.
i laughed my ass off while he was doing that shit. i was like this negro is BEGGING to be traded from San Antonio.
great article on Hodges, btw. i always wondered what went down with him.
now if i can just find out the scoop on Cliff Levingston i'll be happy.
(not really, he's been coaching in the CBA for a while now.)
