Instagram Shuts Down Tory Lanez Quarantine Radio Show (moving to Onlyfans)

An IG competitor? Nah. Well, maybe in time...but for right now, you know you breaking the rules & that the hammer's gonna come down sooner than later, you know you got other cats just ready to shark your idea the minute you get caught (hell, cats bite immediately these days) & you got the resources to redirect at least a quarter of that trafffic if you really wanted.

What's the excuse?

Nothing permanent, just something for the love, with a CashApp donation for those that are willing. When the ban hammer comes, you redirect those people, word of mouth will get them coming to your "backup" site & you leave all those copycats behind in the dust.

I could understand if this was a spur of the moment type of thing but it's not.

in order for any of that to work you have to have a backup site in the first place. That is way easier said than done.

First you have to have a site that's going to allow you the stream that kind of content without restrictions and have enough bandwidth for the hundreds of thousands of people that are going to tune in at once. it also has to be accessible enough that anyone who wants to watch can do it by clicking a link. Nobody is going to be interested if they have to download a new app or open an online account.

The only thing I can think of that might work is a cam site. Problem is, sharing a link to a porn site on IG can also get you banned.

I completely agree that there needs to be something better available, but I'm also going to cut Tory Lanez some slack here. Nobody knew how bad this was going to be a month ago and nobody fully grasped the impact that shelter-in-place was going to have.

We're all playing catch-up right now, including Instagram to some extent.

There was a pack on here a while back that included a social media network builder. And now a days it is even easier to make an IG clone. Just pay for adequate bandwidth...

Ppl will sign up / sign in if it is easy and fast... ie Facebook plugin, gmail....etc. that way it is only 4 or 5 clicks tops. And as was said a cashapp, PayPal, venmo...etc link for donations.

As far as putting links to a competitive website on IG, the SWers usually post a link to a page that has all of their "alternative" links on it..cam,hubz,OF...etc

you sound like a loser tbh. Tory lanez has a following, that matters. He is giving content people want, that matters. of a mic, a recorder, and the ability to be able to converse with another person is no longer high tech.

Black Programmers and moguls are doing intelligent content on these platforms. One is Valence. Its for creatives and entreprenuers. This is already happening, and on many levels is working. We are in the golden age of livestream content. What are you waiting on?
