insight needed: what is life like with / without your dad in your life

there are way more women in my family than men........ i find that a lot of the women young and in the middel and a few of the older ones talk to me about a wide variety of things ( some of them i wish they would keep too themselves) all of or most of these things some what revolve around their father not being around........ so i try my best to make a difference..... so im asking the ladies of BGOL to assist me with some overstanding.......

In a perferct world ....... you have both parents, more importantly as a woman, young woman, or a little girl you would love to have your father there or at the very least have him available to you to talk about whatever girls/ women talk to their fathers about, provide you with whatever support you need and want and to give you with the guideance that you require in making life decisions.
please list or describe all of those things that you think you missed out on, whished that you had, and need or needed in as much detail as possible. briefly describe how the absence of this person in your life has effected you as an adult, if you can or how the presence of this person has added to ro taken away from your life. And finally how these things weigh on your selection of a mate...............
