Independent Consultant Liability Insurance

I am working toward becoming an Independent Consultant in the electrical & building trades field on a contractual basis for some local construction companies. My background & work experience is in engineering and building construction however I've never worked as a consultant, so I need some info on various aspects of the Consulting field especially Liability Insurance specifics.
Does anybody any info or tips?

Go see a few local independent insurance agents. I say see a few (3, 4 or 5) because you'll find coverage and premiums may vary.
