A Dave Chapelle knock off.
Seems like he copied Dave's format but I gotta watch a couple of shows before I can make a serious critique.
 
I'm not gone hate on another man on a mission to better his situation. Fox was good for sketch comedies when mad tv had actual people who were funny in the earlier season. He should learn from cedric the entertainer and hopefully gets at good team of writer's behind him. He's b-list entertainment at best because he doesnt headline, he supports. Cant knock for not wanting to be in nick cannon's shadow and make himself a brand.

it was everything I thought it was going to be...it wasn't corney or wack...it was just average...everything we seen on youtube...nothing shocking...i'll give it a few more episodes before I give it a final judgement...
 
The show's ok. It definitely should've been a Saturday night show or on MTV sometime.

Although I'm not a fan of his comedy, he seems like a humble cat and I would like to see him come-up but I just don't see it lasting long on FOX. They tried to put that show with Chill Mitchell and Michael Strahan on sundays and that shit was barely funny and got cancelled too.
 
Didnt find the show very entertaining. Hopefully others did, i wish him well. I did like his Chappelle and Chris Rock impersonations though.
 
I thought it was pretty good with some good hard laughs and a few decent chuckles.
I'm interested in what it would look like on cable.

Aside from a few chuckles it was wack.
FOX Corporation doesn’t mean us any good.
The “Bernie Mack Show” was the only product that FOX put on that didn’t demean the Black race.
And that was solely due to ‘Bro. Mack’s genius and talent.

That was one of the big :lol: moments. I have to give him credit for going at celebs hard. Lately, some comedians seem afraid to do that after they attain a certain level of success.

I gave this show another chance tonight. I'm a big fan of Affion's youtube skits. My wife and I watched and wanted to laugh so badly at this. But........it didn't happen. Shit was wack. Maybe he should stick to the youtube stuff. Kinda like Jaleel White did with his "Fake It To Make It" skits. This show will be cancelled very soon. :yes:
 
Sunday night football is gonna kill his show. I watched last week and it was ok but there was some football on this week. Football>>>>>>>moderately funny show​

I watched two episodes and it just wasn't hitting for me. The laughter was too canned. And, who STILL does Michael Jackson impersonations in 2011? Shit is played. Chris Tucker did that 20 years ago. His impressions are very good, but don't hold up enough to warrant a TV show. I predict he will get a second season if his ad revenue sustains, but it's NOT funny. George Lopez is wondering why his show got cancelled after this dry shit aired. Talented brother, but not 30 minutes funny, and definitely a waste of cash to see live.
 
The show just isn't that funny. I wonder what Fox execs were thinking when they green lit that show.

Wrong station + wrong time = a bust.

He should not have been given his own show. He'd be perfect for a revised In Living Color type show.
 
Maybe it would work better if it had a late night timeslot like MadTV had. But yea, after the Avatar skit last week, I was done. Couldn't keep watching it. And of course the "niggas" on Twitter love it. They ignant asses. Lol.
 
The female fantasy draft was funny, (the white guy and Corey Holcolm saved the skit).

That was about it though.

The MJ dance off was lame especially Chris and his feminine dance moves, I thought AC actually did a better job of impersonating MJ's dance style. It won't last but it's not his fault because i think he's more of an ensemble character than a featured character.
