Thanks, Lord. Props to Miesha on recently claiming the championship (after coming off of injury). She trains with a great camp there in Cali'. Can't go wrong with alot of the guys there being good training partners all in/around that 135 - 145 range with Faber, Castillo, Benavidez, Mendes, etc. Some great training they all get in.

Good names on the card - Henderson / Miller / Lytle / Hardy / Cerrone / Oliveira / Benavidez / Wineland, etc. Keep an eye on Miller as he's poised for an eventual title shot. Henderson's on his way back to title contention ... Cerrone & Oliveira always bring it with their action ... Hardy needs a win as he's had a rough go dating back to the spring of 2010 ... Lytle's always consistent and is one of the kings when it comes to Fight Bonuses (he wins 'em regularly) ... Benavidez is always tough ... Wineland's a former WEC champ' ... and so on.

Benavidez/Wineland are just wrapping up the 2nd-to-last prelim' at the moment, and the main card starts on VERSUS/ROGERS SPORTSNET in 45 mins. One more prelim' to go beforehand ... and then the televised card.

And they would have done much better if they fucked around with a wednesday or thursday night when there's more eyeballs home to watch programming, and people aren't out / forgetting / or simply dvr'ing. Big ups to the ufc though. Fox is a big fucking deal.​

anyways...that last Sunday UFC Live was the best fuckin' lineup of fights i've seen on UFC in years!!! and the best since 2 events ago on Strikeforce. I was very entertained from the pre-lims on facebook to the main event.
 
P' - It's gonna be interesting seeing that 155lb division title picture play out over the course of the next year.

Also ... GSP / DIAZ in late-October, and JONES/JACKSON in late-September.

yeah man GSP Vs. Diaz is going to be crazy...I really like both fighters...for some reason I'm leaning towards GSP...a focus GSP is damn near unbeatable....

155 is going to be good...Melvin & Ben will definitely get a shot at the strap before this year is over....Edgar or Maynard are going to have their hands full with either of them...

Also ... they'll bring the best out of one another. We haven't seen Nick in the UFC for a number of years, and GSP hasn't been tested for some time as he's basically had his way with Alves, Fitch, Penn, Hardy, Koscheck, Shields & such. Nick's got his unique stand-up game, and is dangerous off the floor. Plus he'll bring it to GSP and look for his openings. Should be good.

Thanks, P. Yeah - had to get my PC replaced (and also bought a laptop while I was at it) plus I was out of town for a week visiting my great aunt (83yo) and mom (turned 61) in different parts of the left coast last week. Back to work now after 3 weeks off. I still need to check out large portions of the event (134). Anderson is a beast. NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN MMA THOUGH, HUH? I was reading all types of articles about Nick Diaz yesterday. Definitely a nice bump up for Carlos Condit. He's deserving (interestingly enough - he's part of Jackson's camp too). Should be a good battle and see what type of game plan he takes in against GSP after initially training for PENN.

True. He's definitely a free spirit (Diaz) and eccentric in his ways. Even his brother and some of the other fam' weren't able to get a hold of him there for a day or two as he went off and did his thing ... and as Cesar noted - "He got what he deserved". As Dana White's said a number of times over the years - shit would be so much more fluid with Nick IF ONLY he would "learn to play the game" (i.e. - cooperate with the media/press responsibilities, as well as keep it business-like and mature with the organization(s) ).
