Let this go. They're not going to amend the Constitution to give Obama a third term. You're underestimating how difficult amendments are. They can't even get an Equal Rights Amendment passed. Who the fuck is against equal rights (I asked rhetorically)?

A head to head with Clinton and Biden would have Clinton starting off strong but Biden would be a tough, tough debate and has earned some brand new fans since becoming VP.

Obama won for 2 reasons:

1. he was perceived as a break from the establishment...the clinton name cuts both ways for hillary..on the one hand it opens doors but on the other they have strong enemies and people who DO NOT like them for various reasons.

2. The clinton camp couldn't count..seriously. Early in the primary team hillary totally discounted the caucuses in favor of the big states. Obama's camp had correctly assessed that if they can rack up points in the caucuses they could minimize hillarys wins in the bigger states and be competitive. The plan worked and by the end of March Obama had mathmaticially eliminated Hillary. Even tho she drug it out till june his having a big lead precluded the super delegates from giving her the nomination.

If she's smart Hillary won't make that same mistake this time around.

Also if Obama never ran she would have been a shoe in..

Maybe, maybe not. Politics is way too dynamic a thing to pick Presidents 4 yrs in advance. Of the last three Presidents, none of them were the odds on favorites 4 yrs prior while all the big names failed spectacularly, many not even getting the nominations.
