'Immortal' jellyfish swarming across the world

I don't fuck with the ocean. They know more bout space than what the fuck is living in there.

Now we got highlander jellyfish, fuck the ocean. :smh:

yeah....i leaves the ocean the fuck alone. i dont even like walking along the beach, let alone knee deep in the water. i stepped on a dead jellyfish before and it still hurt like hell. i can just imagine how that shit feels when its alive. the only thing i want out of the ocean is my shrimp and talapia.

Explain what you mean by that.

Jellyfish swarms are happening more often and much larger in certain parts of the world....Gulf of Mexico is one and off JAPAN....have some of the biggest swarms...

the water is warmer do to Global Warming...over fishing which effect the ecosystem and the their natural predators...not to mention sea turtles another natural predator numbers are down due to poaching in certain areas....

they are fisherman that fish off japan and all they get in their nets are Jellyfish certain times of the year...the swarms are that bad...& will get worst with the stupidity we do....

alot of this and many shit to come are direct effect of what we have been doing to the earth....

And what exactly should we fear from these jelly fish?

ecosystem...fishing....etc...

I know on BGOL cats may not care...but just like melting glaciers...its a problem that may eventually get worst...

Keep fuckin around and they gonna find a metroid in the water

yeah i hear you on that,

as far as melting glaciers and ecosystems i would say that one way or another the planet will heal :dunno: but the earth has survived extreme cataclysmic before.

Honestly i think that humans just are not here to stay, no mammalian species is

Mammals have survived pretty much every other cataclysmic event that's affected this plant. Now fortunately humans have technology on our side. I think we'll be okay we just have to be smart about the shit...which will be hard for us to do.

Unless an asteroid the size of Texas is heading to Earth, but contrary to what Armaggedon said, I think if we sent on the nukes we had at it that bitch would stop.

I wonder does it have any natural predators like a specific shark or whale that feeds on them....if so I think those would be the species to watch considering it now has a relatively endless food supply!

:eek::smh::smh::smh::smh:

the only animal that i know of that feeds on jellyfish are sea turtles......and of course those muthafuckas are endangered too. they need to breed the hell out of sea turtles....so if u ever on the beach and u see hatchlings racing toward the ocean....grab a bucket and give them lil sons of bitches a hand at getting into the water.

Global Warming
Over Fishing
Pollution

is whats causing these swarms.....but we still don't care about shit until it gets worst....:smh:

Shit is real i seen a special on it! Them shits are huge and red, they fucking up ecosystems in the oceans. If i remember the program i will let you know.

Cosign these are warning signs that the earth is in distress and our government doesn't give a shit until it is too fucking late.

Then where will we live when our food and fresh water supply disappear.

Destroying one species or displacing it will throw off any ecosystem. For example there has been a massive pythoplankton build up off the shores of namibia, where they have massive underwater methane explosions killing massive fishes that would end up the massive stretches of coast of namibia.

Scientist have found out that due to over fishing of sardines that eat these pythoplanktons which controls these massive methane explosions to a minimum.

without these sardines, the Methane gas will heat up the earth to catastrophic levels.

pretty much any jellyfish can kill you if you dumb enuff to sit there and let it sting you long enuff. but the one u're prolly thinking about is the "sea wasp". now if that muthafucka gets its tentacles on you....you have exactly 30 seconds to get a good prayer in before u go see Jesus.

That is very disrespectful...especially if you were minding your own business.:smh:

Yea, I know what the sea wasp is, I was just drawing a parallel.

First fucking fish.

Then fucking insects.

Because how the fuck did they just up and have this immorality? I'm telling it's because of all that pollution that we put into the motherfucking water.

And y'all niggas is up here talking about "COOL." Bet you woudln't be saying that shit if they found out Great Whites were immortal, then yo ass would be looking like this:

this may sound alittle crazy but could this be the first line of defense of the planets immune system or just one of the defensive mechanisms of the planet

And since we've only explored less than 5% of the oceans how many more 'immortal' animals are out there

here's the scary part:
An attempt by the Japanese government to protect fish stocks involved commandeering fishing boats to drag razor-sharp wire through the mass of jellyfish. Yikes! When scientists captured an enemy big female box jellyfish, they found it swollen with millions of eggs - far more than they would normally carry. And the males were carrying billions of sperm. Apparently, threatening the jellyfish unleashes a breeding frenzy. Scientist now believe these Chironex Fleckeri are genetically programmed to ensure their survival by producing more offspring than normal when under attack. Have you seen Alien lately?

as for the Metroid, there's a sea mollusk thing that looks like it minus the clear shell. google deep sea creatures and you'll find pics.i'm not posting a pic. shit is too creepy.

u've been watching 'The Happening' a little too much.....pump the brakes bruh.

I have told people that humans may one day find a way to live a long time. (thousands or millions of years, which is like forever to me, virtual immortality).

They always shake their head and look at me like I am crazy. This proves that it is scientifically possible.

This is news to me though. I have never heard of this creature.

Its crazy to think what life forms develop in the oceans, i mean think of it according to the theory of evolution 'we' came from there.

Imagine what is evolving under there right now and may be developing just as humans did, the fact that we only know 5 percent of whats down there and things are developing under conditions which would destroy our best technology. 'Immortality' may well be just ONE of the special abilities of these new creatures. :smh:

This thing right here might be able to read your mind and communicate with space probes from planet X

And who says humans cant do this or whether they can do it now? you should know better fleshing :hmm:
