I'm off to Bahrain for Two Weeks

I was stationed at the airbase near Manama. Great place. Before Dubai there was Bahrain. Its very Americanize there, (Beer, Pizza hut, Mickey D's). The Saudis drive across the causway and get their party on, and then transport cases of beer back home.

Hey, everyone.

I made it safely to Bahrain. It is Monday morning here, 7:12am. Back in Baltimore, it is 11:12pm Sunday night. That should tell you the time difference.

I'm about to head to the naval base the US have here. I'll try to get some photos for y'all while I'm here.

Anyway, just letting you know that I'm here. Talk to y'all later.

Bahrain is on the same latitude as Miami. It is nice here. Temps are in the mid 60's.

There's a large mosque not too far from my hotel, the El Fateh Mosque. It's the largest in all of Bahrain. It has the largest dome in the world that is made out of pure fiberglass. Here's a quick pic:

Friday & Saturday is the weekend over here. So Sunday I will be working......

I'm working Friday, because the folks back at DC (the job) screwed up. I may be here longer than the 24th. A little bit more work than expected.
