If you were a successful Rapper would you use the word nigga in your lyrics

Yep... Its part of my vocabulary.. so, yeah! Would i name a song something with the word nigga in it nope never!!! The funny part is people think just cause we as black people use the word nigga that they can cause tyey listen to r music and as if they can relate to us by doing such. That is the so far away from truth! They have country song n such with the words "redneck" in it.. but i BET u better not run up to one n call him a redneck! Its gonna b trouble! I work around all kinds of whites n they call each other out of their names all the time. They use polak.. n that aint a good word neither.. but no one fronts them.. :dunno:
 
Other than some older early 90's rappers who may still put out records from time to time what successful rappers do you niggas listen to that doesn't use it? How can I talk about money, hoes, drugs, sex, murder and my my swag(things that sells records, gets radio play or played in clubs and thus make me successful) without a few niggas here or there?

how often have you heard any white or non black rappers use racial slurs to refer to themselves? really?

Eminem may say white trash or trailer park but his ethnic background is Scottish, English, German, Swiss, Polish, and Luxembourgian...now how often has he used ANY ethnic slur pertaining to ANY of those groups in reference to himself or white people in general??

It is just a word. I myself am a real ******. If I am labeled as a ****** and they can find no fault in me then being a ****** is a good thing. I am more concerned about my health and money than what a person says out of their mouth about me.

Same here. I never use the word, and rappers need to stop.

Example is the new Nas song about his daughter.

He says "To all my n%^$&s with daughters"

In the clean version "To all my brothers with daughter"

I feel that the "N" word was not needed at all in the first place. :smh:
 
Comes out while talking, if I was free styling it would too. But if I'm an actual writing rapper, nah.

I never said that it should or shouldnt be used Im just looking for examples rappers that are successfully omitting the word from their lyrics and you chose Eminem? Eminem and any other white rappers dont chose to not say it, they CANT. And by non black you mean Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Big Pun, B Real from cypress hill? Them niggas use nigga all the time and so would eminem, bubba sparks, and any other white rapper if it werent for the backlash.

Hell even Chamillionaire a rapper that tries not to curse that often says nigga.

No. I would feel like I let myself and my homepeeps down. I don't use it but I won't stop someone else from using it unless they are violating.
 
no i cut it out of my vocabulary but sometimes it slips out...ive been using it for so many years that's bound to happen...i can count on one hand the amount of times that i used it this year whereas last year it was basically a part of my everyday vocabulary

I'll agree with this.

Whites love it when black people use "their" word to describe themselves.

It reinforces white superiority and shows that "those people" know their place.

I always wondered why all these gangbangers and drug dealers and gun murders don't seem to occur to whites when they come into the city, only black people.

It is because there is an implicit agreement. They will use the "white" code words like the n-bomb, and the whites will let them act a fool in black commuities.

If I saw upstanding, respectful, and independent black people using the word as they fought the whites, that would be one thing.

But, to me it seems it is implicit (or explicit) support of white supremacy and white superiority. I don't support the superiority of whites, so I don't use "their" words to describe non-whites.

Not just cause most of yall are brainless cowards but because it just aint practical. chances are running up on random people could be way to time consuming

Basic respect is to call people by their name, preferably last name if they are older, first name, if they are child.

Just don't understand the need to call someone out their name.

To me, it is just another way to rob human dignity, and to de-humanize a group.

But hey, if someone wants to do that, it's their choice. It's just one more step toward the concentration camps. If that's what people want, what can you do?

you miss my point.. its not about whether Eminem says nigga or not..its about the fact that he NEVER says any white ethnic slur that he could get away with..He could make reference to irish as micks and germans as krauts and polish as pollacks since thats in his background..but he never does..

ever wonder why that is??
