I've been saying this since early last year. I just wanted to see how well Gabby Giffords was going to do in her recovery. I predict an Obama/ Gabby Giffords ticket but I can see the Obama administration pulling out all the stops with Hillary Clinton.

But mark my words Biden will pull out citing wanting to spend time with his family or even some excuse, maybe even health. Whatever the reason he will not be on that ticket. So place your prediction in here now. No I thought the same shit after it gets announced in a few weeks :lol:

If he changes running mates, he will change to Clinton and set her up for a presidential run in 2016.
 
It's not going to happen, at least not for political reasons. Life is funny. Something could happen to Joe's son that serving in the military or Joe could get sick but as long as he's healthy, he'll be on Obama's ticket.

I like Joe, but he's getting older and probably wants to spend time with the fam. Hillary has made it sound like she doesn't want to do public office anymore but we'll see. I'd like to see her and Obama on a ticket. As far as Giffords, I can't see that happening. Besides, I've had enough with crazy white folx already thinking Obama is the anti-Christ. They'll just change it to Gabby being the anti-Christ and proof being she already survived a shooting attack where she shouldn't have lived.

she can start Illinois senate for one term. she would win by landslide. Then she can do congress for one term.Bobby Rush has to be about ready to retire.

Sure shes a poster child for inspiration and hope but do you think the voting public will put a VP in office who is currently still undergoing therapy to assist her in developing basic life functions such as speaking English and feeding oneself? Surely you jest.
 
I'll give you props on predicting it if it happens... but I don't see it happening. Biden hasn't been a big weakness, so I can't see the pres wanting him out.... and he's a long time politician, so I can't see him wanting out, cause he's probably not going any higher than this.

No way Giffords will be on the ticket... she hasn't even recovered fully enough to get back to her congressional duties full time as far as I know... and she's still having trouble putting full sentences together. Can you see her out on the stump campaigning... that shit is grueling even for completely healthy people.

Clinton.... I also doubt it, because she seems like she can't wait to get out of it all, at least for a while. I wouldn't doubt that she'll rest up for a year and maybe try to come back for 2016 though.

I been saying this to my folks for a few months now. I see Hillary and Biden switching places. Hillary as VP strengthens the ticket and sets the party up with a strong candidate in 2016 and Biden has always expressed that Secretary of State is his dream job. If there is a change up, that will be it.

I'm not talking about on paper, those are good things in the world.
It's not "blind faith" (you just missed the part about "room for improvement" but I know how this goes, it's either one way or another), it's about having one president who can be worked with or a Republican who can't be. You just have to look at the states that have gained Republican governors and Republican legislatures to see how much of a nightmare that would be.

You've been saying but both Clintons have said it's not true and the President and his people have said it's not true.
I'm surprised, in this highly active time in domestic and international politics, that writers have time to make up shit like this instead focusing on the real issues of the day.
 
I dont see Biden going anywhere. He is the reason Barack will will Pennsy. I have major lapses in judgment but he holds too much weight in Pennsy (a swing state) to let go. Hilary closest ties are IL and NY, two states that Barack would win w/o much effort.

Giffords will not be on the ticket but I guarentee she will be the day -ne headline speaker at the DNC. They will lose her to get the base fired up!

Yeah man the clintons and Barack have been more or less feuding below the surface for influence in the democratic party. Him even offering her that position was to appease her constituents. I could definitely see her stepping down, however she might stay. Secretary of state would be a good position to run for president in the future. I mean who else is going to run in 2016?
