Conservatism and liberalism are political leanings so they are related to politics. They're not the same as politics but politics plays a big role.
And I never said anything about the New Deal being for Black people. I said it was popular among the Black community as was FDR.
Historically, unions have been pretty racist but that doesn't mean Black people, by and large, dont support unionization and collective bargaining.
