I'm not going back and forth in this thread because the thread starter is an instigator and a HNIC troll.
The numbers are the numbers, 32 lost members a month is a fact you can't ignore and the member decline has been going on since 2009. We just had so many members that it went unnoticed. Now things are at critical mass. If I do nothing we will reach a point where there are no members. You have to have a combination of active members and lurkers. You also need new members who feel like they are part of the board. The lurkers in time turn into members who post to the board.
Before I go any further let me say that new members will only have access to the main board. Music and Movie forums will still be old members only.
I have new Mods at the ready to handle all of the bullshit we may have to deal with.

You have the ability to delete any post you think may cause a problem for you, and like I said earlier the rest of the board is still OG's only.
I'll be sending out PM's the next few day outlining what I plan on doing, but the numbers are just fucked up period and it will take more than a few people paying to turn this thing around.
Lastly I'm going to setup some type of disclaimer that new members must check before that get access to the board, something that states who and what we are as a website. I spoke with a friend of mine who is an attorney and she said that is the best way to protect myself and BGOL members.

Hackers can find out a lot of shit through your IP address, if youre using YOUR IP address. But most of the folks who get exposed are the ones who put their business online. Membership may have gone down but the fees went up. At 3k+ paying members now at $20 we must be on some magic hosting.
