There is a dope documentary on Netflix called this is the life. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1178658/

It was directed and produced by Ava DuVernay. She used to rap there (At the good life) and was part of a group called figures of speech. At the 1 hour mark Abstract Rude breaks down the style jacking of Cube and Bone Thugs.

On a side note, I never put it together that Ava is that Ava that made Selma and Queen sugar. Knew her from back in the day and my homies produced her and Giant. She gave me the passes for the premiere and a couple of my tracks are actually played in the movie.
