I ride in the rain when I have to. I mean, if I am on the road, poundin the pavement, and it rains, i put on my gear and keep pounding. I actually got caught in Super Storm Sandy a few years back. A few of us was headed to Columbia SC from DC and went down 95 when the storm was coming up. Hell, if you are a biker you GONNA get caught some point. I've seen lighting hit trees up ahead of me along with the thunder. I got caught downtown Nashville in rush hour and it started raining like shyt, but I couldn't put on my gear so you just ride that shyt out... LOL. I was more worried out my stereo head unit than I was me in the rain. I didn't have time to put my cover on, I didn't have a marine stereo then.

that i understand.... what i dont understand is the bikers that bring there bikes out on a WARM day in the mofo winter... those are the MOST dangerous days to ride. Cause mofos in cars are NOT looking for bikes because they don't think there going to be out.... I known a few folks die on those particular days.. Most dangerous days to ride for a biker in order

1) Random Warm day in the Winter
2) First Few weeks of spring (same reason as #1)
3)Fall ( a lot of shit on the road, rain and etc etc)

For car people too. I dont know what it is about a warm day in Winter but that shit turns every over driver into Fernando Alonso. Muthafuckas be in Sentras speeding on little ass tire with no grip and shitty brakes not made for rapid deceleration.

Naw Cat... A warm day, i would expect to see bikers, well maybe cuz I ride.. As long as it's not ice, I would ride everyday... I have cold weather gear.

Not a fair weather rider here...I would ride almost every day if parking wasn't so damn expensive in my area. I've ridden in 20 degrees, in heavy rain, and commute in the DMV. I just would never ride without safety gear...
I ride here in the DMV in the winter unless its icy conditions, I belong to an MC so I ride to our Clubhouse all the time, just put on my gear, although, I don't wear a full have helmet, I gotta lid and mask... We do the Polar Bear ride every year...

Your right, for me paying a bike note but not able to ride only 7 months out the year. Hell yeah the crew coming out on that one 60 plus day in the winter. Mofo be calling out work and some more stuff.

As a motorcycle rider we know these things are dangerous but we try our best to stay safe as possible. Wear your gear and make it our sole responsibility to play defense all day against vehicles. People texting or looking at their cellphone while driving is at a all-time high. That split second they look down, is the split second we enter their blind spot. 9/10 we at fault as well coming past a car with their windows down at 100 plus mph scares the shit out of people!

Last is those tires take longer to heat up. Seen many accidents leaving a restaurant.

Im speaking more so of people driving that dont even think about bikes.. Which is 99% of drivers... I have always had fast cars so I drive with head ona. swivle anyway.. But for the average mofo thats driving.. they not expecting to see a bike fly by doing 100+ in February... so they switching lanes without a care in the world..
