Grab some minimal sneakers. Good leather handmade in Italy or Portugal

Cole Haan
Oliver Cabell
Thursday Boot Company (they just got into the casual shoe game)

I still keep a fresh pair of clarks

Never owned a pair of wallabees. But I've had a ton of Clark's in my life. My favorite pair was the one that had the bubble on the side with the name and the sole were these bumps. They were like the Rasta standard way back. Clark's stopped making them.
Had two pairs for years that eventually worn out. My wife's doc has one that they made after, he wears them daily for many years, at least ten years every day, still look new. I always talk to him about them, and he's never changed them. They last and look brand new.

Have 3 pairs of Clark's dress shoes, comfortable as hell for all day wear.

This is the newer style off the original that they came out with but just were not the same just looked similar.

Mens driving shoes, you can dress em up or down, some are over priced and some reasonable, they come in all types of colors and materials. The more you wear em the more they fit to your feet, if They get to run down toss em and get a new pair.

The only good advice in this thread.

Know what style you want. Know quality craftsmanship and you will be alright.

I would encourage brothers to find black owned shoe designers in their area. Check out the black haberdasheries if you are near a major metropolitan. We gotta stop the cycle of buying these same white brands that our fathers bought.

ALL DAY LONG...and I am lucky enough to live close to one of their outlet malls so I load up on them too....casual day at the office right now.....and got them on

Ecco over Cole Haan all day long.

Now that the clowning is outta the way.

I only buy shoes with leather uppers and if I can, from a reputable maker.

Here's a few from my closet

Add Chelsea boots in various colors in suede and smooth leather, and you should be in good shape for the fall and winter.
