That mother fucker knows damn well what Jalen Rose meant, don’t give me that bull shit about not knowing how Duke gets down, I have been watching college for over 20 years, yet have I seen Duke recruit an inner city kid, No they recruit uncle toms, look at the fool on ESPN college basketball show Hubert Davis, look like a fucking IDIOT with that white boy haircut, I am just hoping Jalen Rose is straight after all this fuckery, because you and I both know Duke would never recruit Allen Iverson, Ron Artest, Micheal Beasley just a few off the top of the head, and don’t get it twisted Brand, Maggette was not inner city kids:angry::angry::angry:

when you post a new thread hit the button once, and wait. its processing.. don't hit it twice (or more)

How about Sean Dockery who came from Julian HS in Chicago or Roshown McLeod who came from Jersey City?

yea u rite bout Dockery the boy from chicago he went to skool in the Southside Julian High..u rite bout this 1 fam

The Also recruited Shawn Livingston out of Peoria IL. But all of those players were later in the 90's or the 00's I can't hate on a player who is talking about his PAST TENSE feelings about what he felt as a child. The thing that pissed me off is that the Media and Grant Hill, Fail to realize what Jalen and the other Fab 5 saw. People with ahead getting ahead based on a system that the fab 5 were never apart of or knew about. It's like he started 2 steps behind before he even played a game. That issue is never discussed. But whats interesting about duke players who usually come from that "Privileged" background end up being soft and not making it in a league were you have to be a challenged to be successful. (Check the stats tho I might be wrong)

Re: I lost a rlot of respect for Chis Broussard

Hubert Davis has a white boy haircut, wtf?

Is it more about upbringing and location or attitude?

Maybe he expects more from the basketball players he recruits for the team he coaches.

AI. Think about the AI we know. He's a good dude now. But a knucklehead Beasley? Straight idiot. If not for basketball the kid would be a damn rock. Ron Artest? Absolute great human being, but he's a nut.

Maybe he doesn't want to work on the personal aspect of it taking on guys with raw personalities. Quite possibly he just wants to worry about basketball and nothing else.

That could he his own bias.

wow....tell them how you really feel david
Hey. I'm just presenting an alternate viewpoint, and not one that is my own.

Dude was probably so deep in his own way of thinking he couldn't realize how it looks. These coaches are egomaniacs to the degree that what some anchor on espn or beatwriter says don't mean shit and they're just looking for stories to make.

If he feels he can win with a black player he won't have to really invest in he'll choose him over a more talented player. His position as coach is set on that team, he's a lifer.

Now for us, herein lies the rub. Is a black male that isn't a troublemaker a grows up in a two parent household with good parents an Uncle Tom by default?!

On some RoadRage shit, the powers that be make you feel that if someone comes from that background you're less of a black man, nay, less of a man.

By shifting the manhood of black men from one type to another they can set it in motion to systematically destroy black people from within.

Why constantly have to keep the black man down(and black woman is in this too) when they can can do all the heavy lifting.

Shit. It's crazy.
