I lost a lot of respect for Chis Broussard

The purpose of college is to set yourself up to succeed BEYOND COLLEGE. duke doesn't do that for its players.

...name the current Duke players right now that should be expecting an NBA career...you never gave me a list of those in the past that would have been great at other schools....

...I'd be willing to say that Grant Hill is the only great NBA player that played at Duke...Battier decent role player, probably overachiever, Brand undersized, Duhon average talent PG, Maggette super athlete, showed signs , Boozer blue collar, not a great athlete, Deng, a solid player,still improving, Shelden Williams mechanical, undersized....Avery, Ewing, Langdon, all average talents....to be honest Duke has won a lot with far less talent than UNC has had over the same period...who should be in the NBA that isn't because they went to Duke?...

I seems nobody heard Jalens heartfelt rendering of his own feelings at 19....He was envious and jealous of Duke and that turned into anger...Doesn't everyone not accepted by the establishment feel that way????

I gained respect for Chris Broussard. To be passionate and uncut like that on the job is something most people would never do. His comments had nothing to do with Jalen Rose, he just used the platform to address an issue which is important to him. I think he clearly understood Jalens point and his commentary was not directed at him in any way shape or form.

...when you feel someone is in the wrong, especially when his words affect a lot of Black folks, you have to admit it...the same way Lebron left Cleveland...many folks had no problem that he left, they just didn't like the way he did it, the tactics he used.....much of what Jalen said was accurate and emotionally driven, thats real, and most folks understand...its the choice of words that he used that was the problem....
