As for that PM convo, YOU sent ME a PM* when I was publically questioning YOUR behavior as a mod during that whole sextalk Bigirl loco thread/you posting BiGirl's alleged pic fiasco. In that PM, you felt as though you had to explain your motivations to ME. I responded that I knew the entire situation and that BOTH parties were in the wrong with your behavior crossing a line. That's why I know this is all not new to you. In that same PM convo, you also said that you learned how not to behave and you wouldn't make the same mistakes again....yet you continue to repeat the same things. That's my point.

And like I said you sent me the initial PM which started the conversation, so yes, I don't PM about issues that are brought up in public fora. The conversation took place in August and no, I haven't changed. Even before then, If it was something that is a public issue, I talk about it in public. Unless I am not the initiator, which in that case, I wasn't. Now, if you want to send ANOTHER PM and start another conversation, that is a different animal altogether.

Aside from the moderation issue, I have no ill towards you or anyone else on here. Sleep in peace.

We were done until you edited in a bunch of other stuff in your post.

This is an exact representation of what I mean. I said I don't PM with one line in a post. You extrapolate that into two smarmy paragraphs where you outline that we have in fact had a PM conversation (for what reason, I don't know, maybe to make what I said look like a lie). When I then explain what exactly I meant by "I don't PM", you misconstrue this as me trying to claim some sort of "You PM'd me first" victory, which was far from my point that I see you missed.

BUT, since you decided to open that Pandora's box, I decided to use those very PMs to buttress my previous claims of you saying "Well, I"ve learned from my mistakes and I won't do it again" and then doing it again. Again, I wanted to keep the private messages, you know, private.

Nor did I believe that I was the only "special" person you PM'd about that. Quite the contrary, I'm sure you PM'd lots of people about it.

Or I hit reply and also had other tabs open and was posting in those, as well as doing other things before I typed a reply and sent. I had no idea you were going to edit in all that other stuff after the fact at 12:46, 4 minutes before my post, about our private conversation (which by the way, did NOTHING to clarify any point you were making in the post) because I didn't hit refresh. You did that. At that point, I had to clarify myself since you had spoken about a supposedly private conversation (not that I'm afraid of it seeing light, it's the principle) that we had and I had to correct your incorrect assumption about what I meant when I said "I don't PM".

I don't want to debate. I made my point. You read it or whatever and asked if we could move on (though if you'd read the post, you'd see that I clearly said we could), and while I was responding, you added in a whole bunch of other inconsequential information to which you knew I would respond. If anytyhing, I think that YOU want to debate as at this point in time, all I am doing is responding to your claims/posts. There doesn't need to be a truce because like I said in that post a while ago, I have no beef. I can't truce what's not there. We can easily move on as soon as you chose to by not creating new points of discussion. Unless that's what you want to do.

This thread was doomed from the start, so don't weep for it. It actually has served some sort of purpose.

SOL needs change! An the overall mindset of some members needs to change. HNIC actually had a good idea starting this forum. IMO this forum needs to succeed but it will only succeed with positive threads, discussions and feedback by positive people.

I'm suggesting when a mod sees the necessity to ban someone for starting a thread like this they should also delete or lock the thread. This would eliminate the environment for useless threads like this to continue. As all can see nothing good has come of keeping it open.
