The ACA matters. If Dems lose the ACA will be overturned and everything Obama fought for (even though he couldn't get it all in) will be for nothing and his legacy will vanish....

Yeah....

But choosing between Hillary and whoever comes out of the Republican party is like being trapped in an elevator with a sociopath and a psychopath and only having a gun with one bullet.

:suicide:

You do know the ACA is law right? It ain't getting over turned even if the repugs win

They would mask it in the form of reformation and that effectively can kill it.

It would go to the Supreme Court where they will up hold the law as they done so before when it was 5-4 republican leaning

The House has already voted dozens of times to repeal the bill. The only thing stopping it from being repealed is the veto of the President.

If the next President doesn't veto the Congressional bill to repeal the law, the ACA is gone.

That and the fact that if they can't outright appeal it they'll try to "reform" it and pretend they are correcting it. But we all know what that means...

Breh it has to get pass the senate before it gets to the presidents desk

Y'all forget it really don't matter what the House does. Once a bill is signed into Law it takes 60 votes in the SENATE to overturn a law. That's why that Senate vote in for ACA in 2009 was so critical. Democrats had a filibuster proof majority back then. Now the GOP has a majority in the senate, but it's not filibuster proof so even if a house bill is sent to overturn it, the Democrats can still stop it as long as they don't lose 6 more seats. in the next mid term election (2018 at earliest). Given that all the vulnerable democrats have already lost, its not likely that the GOP gains that many. They may even lose some if a GOP candidate gets to white house. Historically, the voters come out in mid term elections against the party in power.

This is what frustrates me about people.

That was a small miracle because John Roberts has a Legacy to consider. Do you think the republicans will stop? They will find a way.

Take abortion for example. It's law of the land but they finally figured out how to get what they want. Clinic after clinic shutting down because a fucking hallway has to be 6 foot wide...

And then they will appoint 2-3 justices...it's over.

If your rich or white by all means put republicans into the White House. If not, your beyond stupid.
