I just caught up with Luther. Recommend a good ongoing show

I just caught up with Luther. Great show. I'm a sucker for shows that have a ongoing story. It drives me nuts trying to watch one shot shows. Anyway, if you haven't seen it, check out Luther. It stars Idris Elba.

So I'm wondering if there are any other good shows out that I have never seen. So far my DVR is set to catch Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, TrueBlood(blah this season), Sons of Anarchy, StrikeBack, Burn Notice, Dexter, and some others. I tried to get into supernatural but it seemed like it was jumping all over the place in the second season, so I stopped.

So please, recommend a ongoing series. (Meaning a story that goes episode to episode. Not one shots like CSI)

Thanks for the recommendation. I just saw a commercial for it today. I didn't know it existed. Hopefully Netflix has it on instant, so I can catch up.
