I hope Bomani doesn't lose his job!

Lol Id like to see what they could possibly say about it.
It highlights the stupidity of the Indians and the Redskins names. So if that shirt is racist, needless to say those franchises names are racist as well.

The fuckery that is on his mentions right now is crazy.. On a number of levels, this shit was pure genius.

When asked "What if Mike Greenberg wore a shirt that said AFRICAN AMERICANS? ". His reply was simple.... "Or... INDIANS"? . LOL.

What can Disney say to him about this shirt?
Anything they want. They employ him.

Where? He was let go by ESPN before and had to come back. When it comes to sports media ESPN has it on lock. Fox1 ain't popping
Fox1 would give him a kings ransom yesterday. If he were fired a bidding war would ensue .

He's gonna apologize soon...
Nah.

The Bo and Jalen show. They need to make they happen. Shit would be hilarious

Nah.
I doubt it the people on fox1 don't really want to be there. I could see him going the route of Olberman and going to political news channel like MSNBC

ESPN will talk to him. He won't get fired. He won't have to apologize. He was making a point and anyone with a lick of common sense understands that, but the Mouse KNOWS that the shirt will offend folks and are trying to mitigate as much damage as possible.

Bomani won't be fired. He played good worker by covering up some what. He's off for the rest of the week, so this was thought out on his part. Let the whole thing marinate. Get his point across. If ESPN threatens him and asks him to apologize, he'll refuse and allow them to fire him so he can collect the rest of his money on his contract and if he's smart, he will leverage Bill Simmons and HBO to get more money from Fox Sports 1 & 2.

Brother, i dont care what you doubt. Im telling you what i know. Fox wanted him BAD and threw more money at him. He stuck with ESPN because of the platform and visibility. If he were fired now, they would throw even more cash considering his name has grown that much more and he has a following and is also a polarizing character (something fox loves!).

I hope he doesn't apologize but I don't have faith in ESPN employees. I remember when SAS was looked at like Bomani is on here at one time, then ESPN took that check away and we saw his coon come out

They throw money at every ESPN employee when there contract is up, if They wanted so bad why didn't they go after before Lebard got him back in with ESPN? He was free agent and just had podcast and only ESPN gave him a shot.

He would be fine, bill simmons would snatch him up in a minute yahoo too. The Times a d print are right there and a bunch other sites and his podcast is excellent he just need the properating platform.

For ESPN it is a lose lose cause his fans will follow him and it further lowers their legitimacy.

But I want him to stay and get them checks from the mouse...he getting tv radio appearance and occasional print/website money.

I wanted him to get that website deal they foolishly gave Whitlock.

Good points can't argue with that I forgot about Simmons and yahoo. But Yahoo doesn't have the platform, I can see him on HBO like Simmons or Vice who I think is upcoming network.

There is nothing racist about that shirt.

It highlights the stupidity of the Indians and the Redskins names.

So if that shirt is racist, needless to say those franchises names are racist as well.

Think that's the point he's making with the shirt.

If they call this racist then they acknowledge the racism of those franchise logos and must change them.

Well, I don't know about that. I just doubt espn would find this as an offense that requires him apologizing.

Plus , any and all offended are making his point.

There will be millions of everything mad at bomani over this. white people rally around being offended like no other. there are no white people telling them they're being too sensitive or to just let it go or it was the past you need to get over it or we should forgive bomani or any of the shit that happens with US

Look man, you dont know what you're talking about. All talent dont cause bidding wars between the companies.. And its a VERY short list of names who fox has gotten into bidding wars with espn over. You're also wrong about espn being his only offer when he was a "free agent".. But regardless, what does his profile 4 years ago have to do with his current profile? You do realize he is a MUCH more valuable asset today than one year ago let alone four years ago. Fox saw him as the up and coming young talent that he is, and planned to build around him... he took espns offer. If he were fired today there would be no shortage of suitors for his talents.

I've got a good mind to create a Washington Caucasians shirt for the Redskins too. Let's get this money!

Someone made a shirt already fam,

If espn was to push back it hurts them, it will blow over by monday, you make waves it gets bigger, and the more people whine the more his point gets made, he has gained more popularity so espn cant just be like bye, and not expect a bigger blow back, but either way dude is gonna be fine job no job with espn. But they probably wont put him on primetime anytime soon

You really think white stupid enough to get offended when they got the redskins?

Because this is the EXACT kick in the twitter that social media needs to go on a full out assault on Dan Snyder.

They gonna have swallow this one. They Do NOT want Bo doing the media circuit defending his position and totally obliterate theirs...and have regret they even started

You know like you be doing to those foolish enough to test.

Mocking/shaming those in economic power has literally no impact at all. It could have said "crackers" and it would have meant nothing.

It's a good point but a major false equivalence

Now make a shirt that says multi generational pedophiles, rapist, homosexual soldiers that torture, slave owners and cultural/religious destroyers...with that same cheesy white face,

then maybe you have something that touches a nerve

Yes. Yes I know they are going to rally

I'm saying that if it actually blew up, Bomani would just take the L. He doesn't come off as the type to say "I'm sorry" over something like this anyway. He stays sonning white people...all day.

Yea fuck that we don't need to apologize to anyone for anything for the next 600 years

I think that's the point. You don't even need to do all that... simply putting a white face on it was enough for them to have a hissy fit. That makes his point better than going in even more with it.. points out the hypocrisy even more.

I think most people would even if it was nothing to apologize for. I'm saying, in particular, Bomani doesn't come off as the type that would even if ESPN asked him to do it in this case. Bomani is not putting on a show. He deep downs believes in "the cause" and daily gets at white folks over shit like this. He did this fully knowing what type of response he would get.

No I got that
I am saying we black people never need to apologize for nothing again

Here's what's going to happen now. These type of shits have been around forever. My man Nicky D made a bunch of them back in the day. They weren't political, he just flipped white mascots into black ones. He got cease and desist letters left and right. But this Caucasian one is 100% social/political. And now you're going to have every halfway t-shirt designer making their own versions and flood the market. And awareness will spread due to social media. Some of them will be doing it for monetary gain, others will be focused on the social issues of it all. It will open up the dialogue again about Washington and Cleveland and other offensive team sport names and you'll see another surge of team mascots and names being altered.
