Since the bugger will not go without a fight, and will not suffer his punishment, I have
a suggestion that can solve the problem now, rather than after Sterling is dead, as is
clearly his intention by consigning this issue to the courts of law.
What if the NBA created a completely new team in LA, to play out of the Inglewood
forum if need be, allowed all the current Clippers coaches and players out of their
contracts, and deregistered the Clippers from the NBA?
David Sterling seems to be banking on the conviction that no one can force him to
sell his team; but by the same token, no team can be compelled to play with his team,
and that, in the final analysis, is the power the collective has over any single team in
