i didn't vote at all because there should have been no type of vote to begin with. common sense should have told anyone that it was wrong. i figured you would have caught that by my various comments in that thread.

and i for one speak against a many a things. not because it has to do about men, women or race, but if its right or wrong.


at the same time you can't condemn some of these other folks because they agree to a topic. just because some people just don't know how to say things in tact doesn't mean the message automatically loses merit.

How u gonna change the question? They poster asked exactly what they wanted. Why? Because of the things that grown children could do that most parents would find embarrassing and might make them consider disowning them, the worst for a male child would be that they're gay. For a female, it would be that they're a whore and everyone knows it.

At any rate, if the question were simply about sexuality, it still wouldn't matter for me. Even if I have religious reasons for not agreeing with the lifestyle, my own baggage, etc., bottom line is that all I have to do is love my child. They have to live with it every day. Although society is much more accepting these days, gay is gay, so for any "out" person, it would be a tough road ahead...

Its probabably more often than that. Some rebellious kids go out of their way to find drama if they can't get it at home. Besides, everybody makes mistakes and gets into trouble on some level...but good parents won't have the added burden of guilt when they know that they're responsible for introducing the behavior or exposing the child to the behavior...

Plus, even if the kids of good parents make mistakes, they are more likely to come to their senses at some point if they have some home training and a support system to fall back on...
