Great thread! I just started intermittent fasting two weeks ago and my blood sugar has been under control for the first time since I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic.metformin used to help but since I don't have access to it anymore
I had to try something else.I do omad
(One meal a day) and my fasting glucose is doing amazing.
Yesterday it was 121 and today it was 106.It took 2000 mg of metformin a day and keto combined to hit those numbers before.now i eat one meal a day,usually protein with high fiber tortillas or pasta zero.i stopped snacking too ..no chips or cake or ice cream.im also saving money seeing as how i eat so much less.Thanks to all who dropped knowledge in the intermittent fasting thread,you guys helped change my life!
