OP, thanks for this post. It made my day. Nothing better than a dope scratch and break beats in a song....I could listen to this shit all day. Hell, I've got a playlist that I workout to with nothing but songs with heavy scratching and mixing in them. Beatjunkies, qbert, the x-ecutioners, them boys are the truth!!

Still an art form, their are plenty of scratch DJ's around that are great old school and new school. The problem is that DJ's are no longer the central focus in any Hip Hop album today. It's all about Cars, Cash, Bitches and Bling.

The greatest DJ to ever do it is DJ Cash Money. He won the World Championship 8 straight years and was told he could no longer compete. He is s mega super star over seas but not here in the U.S. You cannot make a DJ thread without starting and ending with DJ Cash Money.
