How tech can be scamming you out of money.. Buyer beware

Crazy how people in the same room ordering the same items literally getting charged different prices anywhere from 50 cents to a few dollars more per item

Good information bro.

Not surprised at this though to be honest....

I am sure those receipt apps that pay you to snap your receipts are sharing this type of data to companies also....

Corporations hate Khan because she was really fighting for the people in the last administration...

WILD!! Excellent video and post!

Sneaky bastards!!! A few bucks might go unnoticed by you and me, but that equals millions for these grocery stores :smh:

There's tons of shit to unpack from this video.

Figures.

Rock you to sleep with convenience just to rob you a little at a time. :smh:

EXACTLY!!!

You really have to try to beat them at their own game with coupons, loyalty programs, discounts, etc.

Most people don't have time for all this shit though.....and they know this!

I personally don't use any of these delivery services or convenience apps, but I get why some people do.

I wonder if they did this test with uber/lyft I want to know the results... Also if you use those services its best to have both cause I definitely can say it be a price difference between both companies, most notably lyft tend to be cheaper when I see people use it in ny compared to uber

I'm just now seeing this thread, thanks for posting this because I gotta stay on top of these prices when buying shit since they like to make shit higher for the same product or food. I'm always asking "How Much?" then I'll double check the prices to make sure and If I see something not fair, I'm gonna show them and tell them with proof about those prices.

My mom said one of the craziest feelings is when you're boarding a flight, and then realize looking around the plane that undoubtedly EVERYONE (hundreds of people) has paid a different price for their ticket.

Be it full / regular price, marked up, last minute, discounted, free with points or airmiles, etc.

Said it really hit her when she was on a holiday pre-pandemic and paid $58 for her ticket, and the lady next to her noted paying $900.

same with gas prices at these various gas stations.

I was driving down the street a few days ago and there were 4 stations less than 30 seconds apart.

They differed in price $0.35 / gallon from station A to station D.

I kept those prices in mind and gassed up later at the lowest price in a neighboring city after an event and got a few dollars back in points (CC).

Agreed. Frustrating how much prices vary across stores.

There's a local grocery store within walking distance. Beautiful place - great store layout and has a boutique feel to it. The prices FUCKING SUCK though. I'd love to shop there, but can't bring myself to have them price / ad-match everything via an app or other stores' flyers every time. It would take forever, and wouldn't be possible in a regular checkout line. The only times I've bought there were for some snacks for a party or two, or using up a holiday giftcard from work.

Instead I shop at a different store close to work, which also has a store on the way home, and 1 which is less than 7 mins away by car. I have asked them to price or ad-match the occasional items here and there, and have their store loyalty CC for points (thousands back over the years).
