I movied out when I was 17 (following some older woman 
) Then I went to college. Lived on my own for a few got a place with my sons mother graduated school, broke up with my son's mother started paying $800 a month in support. Moved back in with moms at 30, now got a house at 32. (just moved five months ago) roller coaster. yall might think i was a buster for moving back with moms, but I thank her every day she let me come live again. I was only making 30,000 and paying 800 month support, shit was crazy.

I don't live at home, I moved out at 24 but aint shit wrong with living at home if you're making the best out of it and stacking your bread. I had a homeboy that lived with his mom and then at 29 moved into his own house instead of an apartment because he saved his money. The only niggas I don't like are the ones still living with mommy and driving Range Rovers and wearing $300 a pair jeans and don't even help their mom with the bills.
Niggas act like just because you move out you're better then the next man still at home. I know a lot of niggas that moved out and don't have any lights in their apartment and are hiding from their landlord every month. It not about who moved out it's about who can make it out.

That's sort of uncommon now a days though.
Especially if you live in NYC, it's not uncommon for kids to stay in the home until they're well into their late-20's becuase of housing prices.

17 i was the only senior in high school with his own spot managed one of my grandfathers apt buildings which came with an apt 
I didn't throw parties have a lot of people over very few people knew i had the apt. kept a 3.8 gpa on 4.0 scale still went to dinner at mom's several days a week though It was cool having my own place at 17 I was responsible and mature for my age so it worked out great lived there until I finished college

29...JOB...HA HA...MY FAMILY AND MY OL LADY FAMILY OWN A FEW PROPERTIES THROUGHOUT THE BAY AREA...MOSTLY SULPHER SPRINGS, A COUPLE IN BRANDON..AND 3 OUT HERE.. I COLLECT RENT, CHECK ON PROBLEMS, THEN CALL SOMEONE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM... I DO 90% OF MY JOB FROM HOME..SO NO DAYCARE AND AMPLE TIME WITH MY SON....
Graduated high school at 17. 1 week later I left for basic training. Returned 9 weeks later and repacked for college. Graduated college when I was 21 and went to Officer Basic Course. After that stayed with my parents for 2 months while looking for a job. Got a job with Xerox and booked. Anybody still living at home and both parents are capable of taking care of themselves are showing how worthless they are. Now there are other reasons to stay but if you are driving a newer Bimmer or Benz and got less than $10g in the bank you need get your priorities straight.
Only truth in this whole thread.. Aint nothing wrong with renting apt.. but it aint for me.. so stackin my bread and paying off bills right now...

Unofficially I moved out when I was 18. I lived in the dorms and could come home any given night of the week (i lived 10-15 minutes away from campus). I was only really home during summer months ( one summer I got an internship in the Midwest; the best and worst life experience for to date) and winter breaks.
Officially was the week b4 my 23rd birthday. I drove 3000 miles Jersey to Cali for my new job fresh outta college. I ain't look back since. And I been here for about 8-9 months already so shit is workin itself out now.

Been in New Orleans for 10 years now, sans the Katrina year where I moved back to Cali and paid 1k a month for a fucking one bedroom in Chinatown, LA. Fuck Cali.
