Two that I gave a fuck about. Both lived up the street in the same cul de sac. One was killed in a car accident. The other health problems the family kept under wraps.

1 a close Childhood friend. She was shot in a robbery as a teenager in her 2nd year of college. Her Mom passed 4/5 years ago likely suicide, her daughter was her world. Her death fucked a lot of us up, I was out east over the weekend and my destination was near her grandparents house that she used to stay at and we’d hang at as kids. Gave me palpitations.

When I was in college in the early 90's there was a local chick who was getting ran through on campus. I admit I hit her once. A few years later I'm sitting on the couch in my apartment with my girl watching the news. They show her pic and said she was murdered. It kind of messed me up. They never found her killer and it's a cold case now.

I'm in the same boat as some of y'all, haven't heard of any of my past lovers (lol) passing on... but I expect I'll hear something soonish based on my recent experiences with random bruhs I grew up with and I hope y'all brothers are taking care of your mental/physical health etc. This shit is kind of devastating.

One really cool woman I used to date a few years ago, wanted me to come through and hang out with her and I politely declined trying to do right by the lady I was in a relationship with. I asked about her daughter and if she was doing alright generally (I knew she had chronic illnesses). She said she was.
Three months later, I look on my feed and see announcements from her account from family and friends of her passing and her funeral info.
A chick I went to college with @ claflin.... erika was a delta... she wasnt the most attractive but she was super cool & incredibly smart. I believe she knew she was dying. She passed away in her mid 30's due to some sort of medical issue that couldnt be cured. She had no kids.
