After taking my health class in high school,I know better cause they showed some shit that scared the whole class and we had some ladies come into the class that had hiv ....it's different for them now but back in the days in the 90's I saw a lady in Miami with it and that forever changed my life.

Sounds like this girl never had a positive male role model growing up in order to distinguish or tell apart good male human characteristics when she sees one.
The issue wasn't her sleeping with him and contacting HIV but more so her bad judgment. When it comes to relationships with people absolutely nothing is ever a coincidence or random luck in the way your treated by them. People always tell you exactly who they are right up front from the beginning.
What I also find interesting is that she is in another relationship. How does that dynamic work out with her new partner being that she is HIV positive.
By the end of the video, it does seem like she is in good spirits and is able to continue to live a fruitful life.
One more thing why keep the identity of guy hidden, that doesn't make sense considering he knowingly infected her and a few other women as she would later find out.
