Cats gonna be tagging their wives or girls cars and getting their hearts broken.....

Or get busted by their woman

Take your pick

To discourage tracking without your knowledge, Find My will notify you if an unknown AirTag is seen moving with you over time. An AirTag that isn't with the person who registered it for an extended period of time will also play a sound when moved so you can find it, even if you don't use an iOS device.

What if you don't have an iPhone
Ever thought of that?
All the person has to do is go by it once in a while and it will never make a sound

Shit makes rich white people intelligent. I still say they have been studying something hid from the massess. They studied this shit in secrecy first. Now it can be released to the masses. I am wondering when the invisibility technology will be released to the public. They have had it on the news and stuff. And they have been throwing in the invisibility cloak thing of harry potter. Not the same thing they released to the public via news networks

" isn't with the person who registered it for an extended period"

SO, ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS GO NEAR THE DEVICE ONCE IN A WHILE
Are you understanding the statement?
They don't even tell you what an EXTENDED period of time is at that
Shit, if it's your lady she gonna be getting in the damn car with you ANYWAY so you'll never hear that shit

Won't this defeat the purpose, by alerting a thief that stole your laptop that he's being tracked. He would then simply remove and chuck the tag, ending your tracking ability.

Read the article, you're right, doesn't mention shit about time limit or non-apple users. I did find this....

The report quotes popular tech blogger and inventor of the markup language John Gruber, who learned from his sources at Apple that an AirTag was currently set to play a sound if separated from the registered owner for a period of three days.

Interesting....Guess when if a man gets on the creep move, he will have to park his car and uber to his next destination or park a few blocks from true destination. Three days is a long fucking time, I was expecting it to say like a few hours or so. This is gonna get apple sued.
