I usually do 20 minutes. They say that's all you need but I see people doing 30 minutes. But running is the shit. It gives you a better cardio. I use to work out at the Boston Sport's Club, then Equinox, a little at Sport's Club LA, and now Gym It.

Damn a lot of you niggas do what a lot of niggas do from what I see; they just work on the weights. Some cats don't like to run for some reason. They just like pushing weights. You will gas out quick when you need that breadth. You can rely on power only. Cardio is just as important as your strength.

He's talking about having endurance and stamina. Being fit is more than just lifting, it's cardio and diet as well.

Not neccessarily cats on this site but I think some dudes just don't like running. Weights and other machines like ellipticals are easier. Like one poster said that running can have an effect on the joints. Cool, but I don't over do it either. Run at 7.0 or 7.5 for 20 minutes two or three days.
