yeah, and people gotta remember how things were circa 2006ish when this shit first hit. The Kardashians weren't a name at all yet outside of their father being on OJ's team and Kim being almost a junior member of Paris Hilton's crew. The tape, as boring as it was, was not a typical homegrown video... as I recall, it was relatively well made for what it was (video quality), so I think they intended for it to get out. He, she or they (including mom) at some point read the times very well and knew that a sex tape would up her and their profile and make Kim a star where she was not a star before. It just so happened to have worked out better than in their wildest dreams. Kris Jenner's grand children's grand children will never have to work a day in their lives because Kim and Ray fucked on video and let the shit out/released it.
