How good of a friend are you to need to borrow $50 and then play the lottery with the $50?

Sounds like a shitty friend so couldn't expect much from a shitty person.
the story is
You borrowed 50 bucks from a friend and played the lottery and won 80 million

lottery is only a couple of bucks...the person could have borrowed 50 to pay a bill like a utility thats 40 bucks...and with a couple bucks from the change bought a powerball ticket...

how is that a shitty person????

So you're gonna give your friend 40 million for borrowing 50 dollars?

did I have 40 million to begin with??? youre missing something you literally never had...

Give em back that 50 and if they don't want it I'll just add it to the stack and keep it moving.

Also it depends on the type of friendship I have with that person to cause if he or she's a ride or die type,I'mma look out for em when in need but if it's just some motherfucker I know and talk to every once in awhile....50.

Don't ever go overboard with helping people close to you cause they'll never appreciate it but help someone you don't know and see what real appreciation looks like.

Definitely gotta be careful when it comes to money / gambling & the potential for a massive payout. Have that shit in writing with your friend. You'd think they'd want a large amount back.

My grandpa used to play Lotto 6/49 locally. He played that shit for years and years and spent a few bucks a week. He would always ask us (his kids & grandkids) to throw him number combinations and he would play them and break us off a piece of the winnings IF he ever won anything. Verbal agreement. Then in the early-90s or so he ended up getting 5 out of 6 numbers. * The catch though was that there were hundreds of people who had 5 out of 6 that week. I can't quite recall exactly, but it was something like 500 or 700 people that had 5 out of 6 numbers.

He ended up winning something like $2300 or 2500 and gave everyone $200 or 300 apiece. That was watercooler talk at school with my friends in our grade school class. I was around 11 or 12yo.

It depends. If I said "let me borrow $50 to play the lottery" then we have something to discuss. If just said "let me borrow $50" then I'll break him off the normal amount you give loved ones when you hit the lottery. I'll need more info before I can decide.

Pay them the $50 with interest and hire a lawyer before claiming the winning lottery ticket. Greedy mf'ers do not have your best interest in mind.

I personally wouldn't expect more than what I loaned.

I don't borrow from acquaintances, so this would have to be a true friend, they'd definitely get more than the $50 I was lent.

Lotta shitty people in the world and in this thread.

If you let someone borrow $50 and you know for a fact that they used it to play the lottery and won 80 million dollars, when they try to give you your $50 back you're gonna
