How do you rip scenes from a DVD to post on BGOL (Porn Inside)

I know I'm no rookie, but a rookie PM'd a question to me and I couldn't answer it. I have a boat load of DVDs that I could convert for the fam. The thing is...how do you do it? I don't want really big files (350MB and such) because they are just too big and I have limited HD space already.

How do you do it?

What programs do you use?

How long does it take?

How much space does it take?

Can I rip just one scene or do I have to rip the whole thing?

If possible a step-by-step walk thru for the intellectually challenged newbies out there.

the short answer would be to go to www.videohelp.com they have almost 200 guides here: http://www.videohelp.com/guides?sea...its=25&archive=0&search=Search+or+List+Guides How long it takes is dependant on the size of the dvd you're ripping in addition to the specs on your computer. Most full length movies usually end up being 1-2 gigs. You can just rip one scene if you want to. I use smartripper, dvd2avi, and tmpgenc, it's not the fastest way and probably not the best way, but i like it.

This is something that could really help the board out. Everytime I see a porn scene that is 80mb, I want be able to rip a scene that small and be able to post it. Almost nobody will download a 500MB scene.
