How did you score the Manny vs Juan 3 fight?

Not necessarily. Even if he fought Floyd in May and lost, there's still plenty of good money making fights for Manny, including a 4th fight with Marquez. There have been a lot of top fighters who lost big fights and it didn't end their careers, from Robinson to Ali to Leonard to Hearns (who lost both of his biggest fights) to Trinidad (same) to De La Hoya.

I disagree. Only Marquez comes out of this unscathed. Pac will lose an embarrassing fight to Mayweather. Every "fan"(casual) of the sport who jumped on the Manny bandwagon will see that he is nowhere near the level of a Floyd Mayweather. It will be obvious that Top Rank had been ducking Floyd because they knew what was going to happen, instead they gave us such classic match ups as Clottey/Pacman and Clottey/Margs. People will know what's up. Not saying Manny's career would be over, as you said, there is always Pac/JMM 4 but Pac's time as the reigning king of the sport will be DEAD. What bullshit would they have in stock to sell us then? Who's gonna pick up the Top Rank flag after that - Bradley?!?! Cotto?!?! I'm sure they'd start to focus on Donaire which would be terrible because they won't put him in with any threats just like Manny. Case in point, Donaire vs Vazquez.

I gotcha but at this point, they don't have many real options. They could fight Marquez again but I don't see it ending any differently and if it did, then we would almost certainly have a 5 fight(:hmm:). If Cotto just destroyed Margarito in their fight, he could start talking Pacquiao again but unlikely. Bradley? If Arum is smart, he would have Manny fight Floyd and Marquez first while grooming (protecting) Bradley and then he would have an on top of his game Timothy against a fading/faded Pacquiao.

True and they could always have Margarito in Bradley's dressing room......

you know, to wrap his hands.:D

I watched it again the other night. I ended up scoring it: 116-114 for Pacquiao. Really could have been scored a draw though. It really was a super close fight. Marquez landed the cleaner shots for the most part from excellent counters. But Pacquiao answered him back pretty much everytime. And Pac pressed the action. At first though I thought marquez might've gotten robbed. But it was tough close fight and marquez didnt do enough in the end to really "take" the championship from Manny. Nacho fucked up telling Marquez that he had the fight in the bag too. Marquez should've stepped it up more for the win though.

Rounds I gave Manny: 1,3,4,9,10, 12
Rounds for Marquez: 5,7,8,11
Rounds I felt were even: 2,6,
