Houston super lawyer Tony Buzbee sues Deshaun Watson

smh..this dude is an idiot. Like I have been saying, there's not anything criminal going on, dude is just an idiot. He needs to settle though because he's gonna lose this civil case.

She adds, “There was one point that he did tell me that I could move [his penis] if I needed to, and I just completely ignored him.” She took this as a suggestion to touch his exposed penis.

   :lol:This nigga got problems

hmmm...

I think i called this one.

@woodchuck THOUGHTS on this NEW twist???

My thoughts. Getting close to working out a deal. The public announcement that the evidence wont' be turned over to the police is a good faith promise that this won't go criminal.....and that if we work out a confidential civil deal, it will end this mess.

Pretty much. I posted earlier that he missed his own deadline for sending the complaints to the police and also lied about having been contacted by the police.

Everyone on here said from day one the last thing the thots want is for a police department to be asking questions about their "business". They also didn't want the cases actually litigated as there was a good chance that they end up in a worse financial situation than before (see Derrick Rose's thot) and way more embarrassing shit for them comes out (Kobe Bryant accuser).

The question I always have in these situations for the "feminists" is what type of sense does it make to get a small payout to keep your mouth shut if you honestly believed that the man was a serial predator who will abuse more women? If they honestly believed any of the shit in the lawsuits the last thing they would want is a settlement of the civil cases.

So they’ll be no criminal charges, but they’ll allow that sexual deviant, sexual assaulter and spontaneous nutter back out in society to nut on and sexually assault masseurs everywhere if they’re paid?

200.gif

You have to remember they want ju$tice not justice.

The Weinstein trial showed that you can continue to date/have consensual sex with your rapist after the fact and that would not undermine the credibility of a rape claim against that person :smh: Shit like this is going to be the new normal. Leave these crazy bitches alone man...:smh::smh::smh:

Deshaun Watson's attorney says 18 professional female massage therapists are going to bat for the QB -- saying they had nothing but positive experiences with him over the years.

Rusty Hardin says the women all worked with the Houston Texans QB at some point over the past 5 years -- completing more than 130 sessions without any sort of incident.

Hardin issued a statement saying, "These women say they are deeply troubled by the accusations made against Deshaun and that these claims are wholly inconsistent with their experiences with him and who they believe him to be."

"All of them stated that Deshaun never made them feel uncomfortable or demanded anything outside the scope of a professional massage."

"None of them experienced any of the behavior alleged by anonymous plaintiffs in the numerous lawsuits filed by the same Houston attorney."

Hardin says the 18 women he's been in contact with agreed to issue on-the-record statements supporting Watson.

It will be interesting to see how these claims are handled compared to those of the accusers.

Wonder if these 18 also advertised on Instagram.....probably the ones who gave it up and hope to give it up again.....

Query me this.....Why would one need so many different masseurs?

You telling me he needed at least 40 different massage therapists (at least). If i were a rich face of the franchise I'd have a small group, basically backing each other up. The Texans owner trying to teach him about trying to step off the plantation.

Thots have been masquerading for "masseuses" for athletes forever. That was the joke about the NBA allowing them into the bubble. It was like an open secret.

It will be funny to see if the uncorroborated statements of the people supporting Watson are treated like the uncorroborated claims against him.

Wow...

But couldn't the DA pursue this himself?

And compel them to testify before a grand jury?

Wow...

The famous saying is that a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich. If there was any actual evidence of criminal behavior, Watson would have been indicted and charged a long time ago. If they had evidence of criminal behavior, the masseuses couldn't do anything to stop the prosecution. Like I keep saying, it is impossible that Watson is a dangerous sexual predator AND we agree to forget about everything for $$$. :smh:

WOW didn’t 2 women say he FORCED them to do oral sex on him? I said those 2 were the only ones that were legitimate if true, so if they don’t wanna press charges then they can’t be taken seriously now.

They giving us no choice but to say that

Public sentiment would be on their side

Its NOT going the criminal route that is goving even the Watson haters pause and Watson supporters seem ready to flip if this is proven criminal

Keep in mind that there was a case a while back where a cop was raping black women who were poor because he thought they would have no credibility. They still went to the police and testified at the trial. :smh: :smh: :smh:

Two more lawsuits filed against Houston Texans' Deshaun Watson, pushing total to 21; 18 women defend QB in statements

HOUSTON -- Two more lawsuits alleging sexual assault and inappropriate behavior were filed against Deshaun Watson on Tuesday evening, including one that states the Houston Texans quarterback has "unsent" messages on Instagram and has contacted the women who had previously massaged him "through intermediaries."

That statement in the lawsuit clarifies the contents of a lawsuit filed by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee on Sunday night that said Watson was deleting Instagram messages and contacting the women "who formally provided him massages, in an attempt to settle" those cases.

On Monday, Watson's lawyer, Rusty Hardin, said in a statement that Watson has not deleted any Instagram messages over the past two weeks and "categorically" denied that his client contacted any of the women directly.

After the two newest lawsuits appeared on the Harris County District Clerk's website on Wednesday morning, Hardin released statements from 18 women who say that they have worked with the Texans quarterback and that he "never made them feel uncomfortable or demanded anything outside the scope of a professional massage." Watson's attorney said the statements were voluntary and from women who have collectively "worked with Deshaun more than 130 times over the past five years."

In addition to the two new lawsuits, Buzbee posted on Instagram on Tuesday night that he now doesn't feel comfortable going to the Houston Police Department with any information and that he and his clients "will go elsewhere to provide our evidence to investigative authorities." Earlier this month, Buzbee said he would submit affidavits and evidence from several women to the Houston PD and the Houston district attorney.

"My legal opponent, Mr. Hardin, has a son who is on ... the exclusive Command Staff of HPD," Buzbee posted on Instagram. "I am not saying in any way that Deshaun Watson's lawyer, Mr. Hardin, has a son who has a position that would compromise HPD and its investigation. I support his service, along with all Houston police officers-I think the rank and file know that."

The two new lawsuits, which were available Wednesday morning on the Harris County District Clerk's website, bring the total number of lawsuits filed against Watson to 21.

One of the lawsuits alleges that Watson "made obscene sexual gestures," and the second says that over the course of four sessions, Watson "purposely" exposed himself to the massage therapist and touched her with his penis and ultimately groped her, coerced her into oral sex and ejaculated on her.

Watson has publicly denied any wrongdoing, and Hardin said last week that he believes "any allegation that Deshaun forced a woman to commit a sexual act is completely false."

NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy has stated that "the matter is under review" pertaining to the league's personal conduct policy, and the Texans said in a statement that they would stay in close contact with the NFL during its investigation.

NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith said Tuesday that the union would also monitor the situation.

"We monitor these cases, and if it results in an investigation by the league with respect to the personal conduct policy, we'll become involved in that," Smith said during an interview with ESPN's Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin. "Other than that -- you know historically I don't comment on open cases -- but we are continuing to monitor it as it might impact this young man and the personal conduct policy."

So, these last few saw that there may be a settlement with and jumped onboard. Wonder if the one who did an independent interview and had her own legal team is now included. At this rate Deshaun may need to a covid variant assassin to pay them a visit or some shit. Every bitch in Houston gonna claim they gave him a massage, and they may have with his 78 masseuse having self. This guy :dunno:

You occasionally see men accused of a series of sex crimes, try to use this strategy.
And, while it can help a little bit, PR wise, it's rarely a winning legal defense.
You can see why this isn't a good defense by simply reducing this argument down to what it is actually saying.

Here is an example. Some Dude is accused of raping 10 different women (women 1 thru 10) on 10 different dates.
And, Dude's defense is - You cant convict me of/ cant believe that I raped women 1 thru 10 on those 10 different dates, because I'll bring out 10, or 20, or 50 other women, (who are not women 1 thru 10, and who were not there with Dude and women 1 thru 10 on those different dates) who will say "Well, He didn't rape me."

Of course, the prosecutor's/plaintiff's attorney's response to that defense is, 'So what'! Dude is not being charged with raping women 11 thru 20, or 11 thru 60. Dude is only being accused of raping women 1 thru 10. So it's not really relevant what Dude did or did not do with women who: are not the alleged victims, were not present at the scenes with Dude and women 1 thru 10 on those 10 dates, and who have no direct knowledge about what happened between Dude and each of these 10 women on those 10 dates.

It would be pretty easy to resolve all of this using the only mechanism we have to determine guilt/innocence but the accusers seem hellbent on avoiding that for some reason.

Watson is a serial predator who is a threat to all women but I dont want to press criminal charges nor do I want to actually litigate my civil claim against him. However, because he is a threat to society, I will accept monetary compensation to never speak of this again. :smh::lol:
