Seems to me, most in the general audience wants prequels and sequels of the characters they already know. And not so much unexplored side characters.

I tried rewatching OZ but it is tough I forgot how brutal and disgusting it could be. I watched that shit traumatized like Tom from the Boondocks

Oz debuted in 97 and I watched that show during the OG airing. If my math is right, that means I was probably in middle school for the bulk of the great seasons of OZ.

Seeing that stuff as a teen is probably what kept me on the right path in life. No need for a scared straight program, D.A.R.E. anti drug message, or after school special.

I grew up watching Oz. I knew damn well what the consequences of fucking up could be :lol:
